Rad Grad

i'm sitting here thinking

how i have been blessed

by my daughter Amy

she's simply the best

she's a gift, she's a challenge

now a new college grad

magna cum laude

she's totally rad

surgery

she doesn't want to do this

and knowing that it's right

doesn't help the nerves

or take away the fright

there's not much i can say

and not much i can do

but simply stay beside her

as we see this hard time through
